Hi! My name is Amy Rodriguez and I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to be one of the Intervention Teachers at The Museum School this year! In addition to teaching EIP/REP, I have nine years of experience teaching first grade, and one year teaching second grade. This year marks my 11th year of teaching, and fourth year at the Museum School!
My overarching goal is to develop a student-centered, active, and stimulating environment. I want my students to actively participate, rather than passively learn. I believe that higher learning is best practiced in an active and engaging classroom. My students are encouraged daily and provided with a positive environment that instills an intense love for life-long learning. Every student is successful! Ultimately my goal as a teacher is to educate, motivate, and inspire all my students to be lifelong learners.
On a personal note, I have 2 boys. Caleb is in 3rd grade here at The Museum School and Matthew just started Kindergarten. My husband Chris and I have been married for 10 years. I love to decorate my house (I could live at Hobby Lobby or IKEA!) spend time with my family, and I enjoy arts and crafts!
I am looking forward to a successful year!

Hello! My name is Jenny Di Meo and I am very excited to be starting another great school year! This year will mark my eleventh year as a teacher, and my fifth at The Museum School. My teaching career has included positions in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Georgia, and, in addition to teaching EIP/REP, I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, and 5. Having a range of teaching experiences has only reinforced my dedication to children and education.
I truly believe students learn best though real-life, hands on experiences, and I encourage the learning process of questioning, discovery, and self-reflection in my classroom. Promoting creativity, effective communication, and problem-solving is a part of my daily classroom routine and lessons.
Outside of school, you will often find me outdoors, hiking, biking, rock climbing, or swimming with my husband and our 2 year-old daughter.
I look forward to partnering with you to achieve the high-standards and goals we've set for your child this year!
